Bess's Easy Fudge

2 c. sugar
1 1/2-2 squares Baker's chocolate
1/2 c. milk
1/3 c. white Karo
1 T. butter
1 t. vanilla
1 c. nuts

1. Melt chocolate.
2. Add rest of ingredients except last 3.
3. Let come to rapid boil and cook to 230F.
4. Add butter, vanilla and nuts.
5. Beat until dull.
