Music 592: Secondary Keyboard Instrument

This course is designed for piano majors, piano principals or other advanced pianists who wish to learn the fundamental and distinctive techniques of the organ or harpsichord, including solo repertory and accompaniment. Students will learn how these instruments differ from the piano in their history, repertory and techniques, and they will advance sufficiently to pass a performance jury. This course is graded on an ABCDF basis (no plus or minus).
