Annual singings scheduled for the Fifth Sunday or the Saturday before may occur in different months, depending on when fifth Sundays occur. While most Fifth Weekend singings are scheduled for, say, "the second fifth Sunday of the year," others may be determined by a special formula. The following is a schedule of fifth weekend singings for 1999, with scheduling information where available. This information is based on Sacred Harp Singings 1998 and 1999, compiled by Shelbie Sheppard and David Ivey.
