On February 1, 1943, the family celebrates Petie Dick’s first birthday at 201. On the back of the picture, Mom had written out everyone’s full name: from left, R. K. Wright, Rosemary Wright, Marianna Wright McClelland, Ewing Richard McClelland, Ewing Ray McClelland, Lester McClelland, Thomas Richard Wright, Deborah Lloyd Wright, Rose Brady Wright, and Sarah McKay Wright. Noticeably absent are Uncle Lloyd, who took the picture, and Uncle Tom and Uncle Ben, who were serving in the European Theater of World War II.
