I am an associate professor in the Department of Mathematics at the University of Mississippi. My official profile page at the University of Mississippi.

My research is in symplectic and contact topology. I use pseudoholomorphic curves to study the topology of symplectic and contact manifolds and the dynamics of Hamiltonian systems.

Research

I am interested in the relationship between topology and dynamics as seen through Floer homology and related symplectic invariants, in J-holomorphic curves in non-compact symplectic manifolds (notably symplectizations of contact manifolds), and in tools from computational topology, such as persistent homology, applied in these settings.

The research page has a complete list of publications and preprints, with short notes on what I find interesting in each paper.
