    Performance in Alabama Sampler (City Stages).
  • Sunday, June 15, 9:30 AM - 3:00 PM:
    All-day singings at area churches:
    Little Vine Church, near Empire;
    Kings Schoolhouse, near Natural Bridge;
    Macedonia Church, near Section.

The British Are Coming!
Fresh from the United Kingdom Shape Note Convention (last September), a dozen or more singers from England are coming to be with us for their first Sacred Harp singing in the South. It should be a memorable meeting. Don't miss it!

Accommodations

  1. Howard Johnson (formerly HoJo Inn, renovated, under new management), off I-65, exit 256 - Oxmoor East (205 942-0919). For a flat rate of $45, be sure to mention you are a Sacred Harp singer.
  2. Hampton Inn, off I-65, exit 252, then Montgomery Highway (US-31) North for 1/8 mile (205 822-2224). For flat rate of $63, mention that you are a Sacred Harp singer.
