From March 1981 to December 1993  I prepared voluminous General Rate Case Proposals dealing with issues involving investment rate of return, labor productivty and work force requirements,  pensions and benefits plans, forecasting demand for electricity and gas production and telephony expansion, future plans and costs for development of broad band fiber optic systems, wireless systems,  Judge Green's final modified judgement for the break-up of the Bell Telephone Company ( the largest corporation in the United States and probably in the world ).  The targets for these reports were the major Califonia utilities, including San Diego Gas and Electric Company  (SDG&E),  Southern California Edison Company (SCE),  Pacific Gas and Electric Company  (PG&E),  Pacific Telephone and Telegraph Company  (PT&T), and the General Telephone and Electric Company (GTE) subsidiary in Los Angeles.  I also helped prepare Certificates of Public Convenience and Necessity  (CPCN's) for several smaller utility companies serving smaller remote areas in the California deserts (Mojave) and the Sierra foot hills (Toynbee National Forest).
