"And on the 15th day of April last he was assigned or elected Capt." Present on roll for May/June 1864. Killed at Harrisburg, July 14, 1864. Effects given to brother.
Resident of Macedonia TN. May also have served with the 22nd TN Cavalry.

On report of absentees and deserters, Verona MS, Feb. 28, 1865. Residence Henry Co. TN; probable whereabouts Henry Co.
Born about 1844 in Henry Co., TN, son of Constantine and Mary Loony Frazier. Enlisted January 1864, near Paris. Served at Okolona, Paducah, Ft. Pillow, Tishomingo Creek, and Harrisburg. He was home sick at the time of the surrender, so he went to Paducah and surrendered himself in April 1865. After the war, he worked as a farmer and carpenter, and lived at Paris, TN. Received a pension.

Born September 20, 1833, in Lunenburg Co., VA, son of John C. and Eliza Hurt Freeman. Freeman was promoted from Lieutenant to Captain of "K" Co. of the 20th when H.F. Bowman became Major during the organization of the regiment. He resigned in February 1865, and A.V. Clark was promoted to the Captaincy. A photo of Freeman is reproduced on p. 259 of Rennolds (1904/61). Married to Margaret F. Julian, 11 children. Living Henry County ca. 1887.
