CALL FOR NOMINATIONS

Region 3 of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, Inc. is now soliciting nominations for the following award:

Employer Professional Development Award

Information regarding the criteria for this award and nomination instructions can be found in Section 2 of the Region 3 Awards and Recognition Program Manual.

The deadline for nominations is December 1, 1998. Recipients will be notified in early 1999, and the award presentation will be made at Southeastcon '99.

Although nominations are encouraged from IEEE Section or Area/Council Awards and Recognition Committees and Educational Activities Committees, nominations may be submitted directly to the Region 3 Educational Activities Committee Awards Chair by mailing to:

Region 3 EMPLOYER PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT AWARD

Purpose: To recognize organizations in Region 3 which employ IEEE members for outstanding contributions by the organization to employee continuing education and professional development as evidenced by their quality, comprehensiveness, innovation, or impact.

Schedule:

Call for nominations September 1
Nomination deadline December 1
Recipient & alternate selected by EABARSC January 1
Region Executive Committee approval January-February
Recipient notified February
Award presentation Southeastcon or other suitable event

Scope: One award annually
