So now that you have found me …
My name is Arvinder Singh Kang. My friends remember me by my last name, my peers by Arvinder, and I'm often also referred to as Singh - a title used to refer male members of the Sikh religion.
I'm 25 years old, media technology evangelist at S. Gale Denley Student Media Center at University of Mississippi.
I hold a Masters degree in computer science with a bachelors in computer engineering. However after landing my first internship in a information technology and advertising firm, I have been dabbling with different forms of communication encompassing different forms of new media.My past work experiences range (in no particular order) from working on a farm, system programming, running multi-level marketing business, bioinformatics research, web designing, teaching in a University, writing applications for Linux clusters, creating multimedia products using Flash and After Effects, working in a folk dance company and creating web apps.
I'm trying to learn about the amalgamation of news, media and technology industry and how it is effecting the cultures and its consequence on the global village.
