Directions to the Grove at The University of Mississippi   

 

¨         Take Your Best Route to Hwy 6 in Oxford, MS

¨         From the Highway 6 by-pass take the Old Taylor Road exit.

¨         Follow the signs to campus going north on Old Taylor Road until you come to University Avenue (less than 1/2 mile) .  [You will pass the Baseball stadium,  if you only see lots of houses and apartments, you have turned south]

¨         Turn  left onto University Avenue until you come to a 4-way stop.

¨         Turn Right onto Grove Loop.  Follow it around until you get to the Student Union.  We will be set up directly across from the Student Union.  [see large arrow on map]  Unload near the Student Union and then park in the Law School parking lot.

From Memphis,TN —1.5 hrs  From Jackson, MS —3 hrs

From Little Rock, AR — 3 hrs  From Tupelo, MS— .75 hr

¨         Return to Hwy 6 in Oxford, MS and head East (toward Pontotoc)

¨         You will pass under the exit for HWY 7 and the exit for Hwy 334

¨         Continue on approx 1.5 miles after you drive under HWY 334.  On your left, you will pass Tommy’s Antiques

¨         You are looking for Country Road 217 [also known as Campground Rd.] 

¨         Turn Left or North, off of Hwy 6 onto County Road 217 and drive 1.3 miles to County Road 232 [also known as Deer Run North]  There is a wood frame house on the corner of CR 232.

¨         Turn left or West onto CR 232 and drive down to the end of the road.  

¨         Our house is the second from the last house on the left.  There will be a banner hanging from a tree at the end of the driveway. 

¨         Park on the road and walk up the blacktop driveway to our house (#314)  It is a split level white and red brick house.  Come on up to the front door and walk on in. 

 

NOTE: If you get all the way to CR 230 (aka Happy Valley Road, which would be on your right)  You have GONE TOO FAR!!  Turn around and come on back to CR 232!
