Collector and Collection Fields


Definitions
• 720 Collector’s Field -- For the name of the person, family, organization, institute or company that donates the item or provides funding for the purchase of the item.
• 710 Collection Field -- In most cases, the name of the collection is regulated by the donators.
Add 599 field if there is a note from the staff of Special Collections, such as James Howard Meredith Collection, Brickell Collection, etc.
Add 710 field only after consulting with the staff of Special Collections.
