Located in the Old Accelerator Building (a.k.a. “The Bunker”), this facility supports research through experimentation in the area of structural dynamics.  The laboratory will eventually be capable of non-contact data acquisition for small- to medium- sized structures subject to shock loads or sinusoidal vibration. The lab and its research has been supported by

·        The Department of Civil Engineering, The University of Mississippi

·        The School of Engineering, The University of Mississippi

·        The Associates Grant, The University of Mississippi

·        The Office of Research and Sponsored Programs, The University of Mississippi

o       FRP Results: Poster

·        Oak Ridge Associated Universities

·        National Science Foundation BRIGE Program

Additional support from

·        Nuclear Regulatory Commission (educational initiative)
